Mrs Something-or-Other and Her Bird is an original mixed-media work featuring an unlikely pair who appear to have arrived together, entirely comfortable with whatever arrangement they have made.
Mrs Something-or-Other stands in her red dress and extraordinary headpiece beside a long-legged bird with a personality of its own. Fine pattern, loose linework and washes of warm colour give the pair a peculiar elegance — part portrait, part imagined encounter, and part story that has deliberately been left unfinished.
There is no explanation for who Mrs Something-or-Other is, where she is going, or why the bird is coming with her. That is rather the point.

Ethereal Assembly is an original mixed-media work populated by a curious gathering of imagined creatures, each seemingly caught in its own small world.
Long-legged forms, odd little animals, fish and fragmented botanical details drift across the composition, connected more by mood than by logic. The result feels somewhere between a memory, a sketchbook and a half-remembered dream.
There is no obvious beginning or end to the scene. Instead, the eye moves from one peculiar character to the next, discovering small details and unexpected relationships along the way.
