One eye seems guarded while the other sits beneath the handwritten word fragility, giving the figure a curious tension between vulnerability and defiance. Oversized lips, tangled forms and flashes of green, red and black create a character that feels exposed, watchful and completely individual.
Like much of Kat House Art, the work is less interested in perfection than in what sits underneath it — personality, contradiction and the small irregularities that make us interesting.
